You, Marley, and Tom have a tendency to look the other way, or even take sides with my attackers.
You ignore a lot of stuff that should be worth a knock-it-off. You issue a knock-it-off for stuff that should get a warning. And you issue a warning only for the most extreme stuff. And then only sometimes.
This especially so when it’s Czarcasm flaming me.
These threads would not turn into trainwrecks if you actually took action when the flames start.
Now, once in a while I get angry, but only after being flamed repeatedly with no moderator action. And then you pounce on me.
I have bent over backwards to remain polite and reasonable at all times.
I post facts, politely, and the Randi supporters start screaming.
They are not upset by my behaviour. They are upset by my facts.
Look at the Geller thread. You will see that they get equally upset at the facts presented by Ianzin.
Or we don’t agree with how you interpret the situation. Since you’ve been warned several times in the last few years - mostly for ignoring staff instructions - then suspended, then told not to post about Randi under any circumstance, it is perhaps time you realized that your understanding of the rules isn’t very accurate. I don’t care very much what you think you’re doing at this point. The mods are the arbiters of the rules and you need to start paying attention to how we enforce them instead of telling us what we ought to be doing.
Your views on the subject are clearly not objective. If we were really as biased against you as you seem to feel you would have been banned a long time ago.
How about if they just took action and banned you for repeatedly violating the Randi ban? That would definitely end the trainwrecks as you seem to be the only outlier holding that candle in a windy tunnel.
Incidentally, checking back over thread reports, I can find no reports by you accusing other people of attacking you in GQ in the last three years. (The restriction was placed on you two years ago.) So claiming I ignore reports of attacks on you is not correct. There haven’t been any reports. (I don’t receive reports from forums other than GQ.)
Dude…you linked to page 1 of a 3 page thread with 176 posts. Nobody is going to read or even skim through all that to see if you have a point. Try linking to the individual posts, or at least identifying the relevant post numbers.
