I had a thread about this the other day and apparently they don’t keep tabs on write in votes unless asked.
I’d like to see how many Dave Barry gets, seeing as how he runs ever year.
Hell, I’d like to see ALL the write in votes.

I usually vote for myself, for some obscure office like city (Gardena, CA) treasurer or member of the board of the local water district. Since I’m not registered as a write-in candidate, however, that vote isn’t counted.

Heh. I wonder whether the voter really meant to vote for Jesus or if he looked at the list of candidates and said, “Oh, Jesus.”
I myself voted for Bill and Opus in '88, when the networks said that Bush was a done deal already, and I was in California.
Had I gotten to the polls in time, I was going to vote for my mother.
I doubt anyone’s ever voted for her before for president.
