I take 120 mg long acting Inderal once a day. This morning there was an attack of the snoozing doofus, and I took two of them. Am I liable to notice any effect? I feel fine.
You know, posting to a public message board is probably not the best way to get advice about acute overdose or poisoning. If it was going to harm you, it could well have finished you off by now.
In general, knowing nothing about your medical history, or the condition you take it for, I’d say that an average individual taking inderal would not be acutely harmed by inadvertantly doubling the dose one time. YMMV tho, and running this past your physician or your local poison control would be your best course for dealing with these things.

Qad, thanks for your reply. I had really wondered what effects I might notice. By the time I posted this I had already talked to a pharmacist and, while she didn’t have a lot of time to talk, she’d assured me that I was not in any danger.

Anyway, I can now answer my own question – slightly queasy tummy for a good deal of the day and a very slight case of cottonmouth.
