Whenever I have moved from a colder climate to a warmer one, I am amazed at the people who have lived there all their lives. When winter comes, they wear heavy coats while I get by on just a long-sleeved shirt. Later, after I have lived there over a year or so, the winters seem colder to me. Is adjusting to a new climate more psychological, or physiological? And what kind of changes do our bodies go through to adjust? Is it in the blood, or what?
This is definately a real phenomenon, I can attest to the same thing, having moved from Indiana to Fl a few years ago.
If it gets around 50 degrees, I usually have at least a sweater on, and usually a jacket.
There was a time in Indiana when I would be running around in shorts and a Tshirt at 50 degrees.
