Acknowledging a sent "report"

I try to respond to reports, but I handle forums that don’t usually get a lot of reports, so we’re talking two or three a day, perhaps. And some days, I’m just too rushed. All reports are received and considered; sometimes the action taken is obvious (like the disappearance of a spam thread or a public warning); sometimes the action taken is not obvious (like a personal note or email) and sometimes no action is taken (because the mods disagree whether it’s a rules violation.)

On the subject, I have a question about a thread in GQ.

Cola with simple sugar?

It’s asking about cola brands with sugar for a sweetener instead of HFCS. I realize it is a question that has specific answers, but aren’t threads about soft drinks usually shifted to Cafe Society? I’m just curious, not complaining, but can one of the GQ mods explain what makes it a better candidate for that forum rather than CS?
