I have heard that if theres Lots of acorns it means a tough winter.
Well, we had a ton of acorns in our yard, and we had a terrible 3 weeks back in late December.
Now that the snows melted, there they are, still in our yard.
What other Bad weather indicators have you heard of?
Are they accurate?
There are very few long-term weather indicators that give reasonable predictions. If there were, we would be able to plan a lot better. I’ve heard the story about nuts, too. My father used to say it, and I’d say about 1/3 of the time it was accurate.
