It is not always opinion. Several of us work very hard to post facts. On occasion, the complete reply to a question requires a bit of speculation. At that point it is polite to indicate to the audience that the following is no longer verifyable fact (although it should, of course, be given a weight approaching fact due to our faithful emulation of Cecil).
