Has anyone seen this? I’m watching it now. It’s about the development of international air travel in the 1920s and '30s, with lots of reenactments featuring the likes of Hap Arnold, Igor Sikorsky, and Charles Lindbergh.
It reminds me of the British series Longitude, but for aviation enthusiasts.
Just seeing all those beautiful old airplanes made my night! I would have loved to travel on one of those big flying boats produced by companies like Fokker, Sikorsky, Martin, and Boeing!
Are you referring to this three-part series about the creation of Pan Am?
If so, then yes, that was a really neat watch. I enjoyed it immensely and learned a lot of deatils I’d not known. If not you can add these three to your queue.
