in the short term, some shorter races leading up to it.
After that, i’ll never have to cycle again. And I won’t care about my knees so I can learn to snowboard this winter.
Doesn’t the altitude kill ya? The last time I was running at any elevation higher than my fourth floor aparotment, I thought it felt like someone was trying to vaccuum the air right out of my lungs.

You adjust to it, especially when you’ve lived here for a while. Makes for a lot of fun when you go to sea level though. You can outrun and outdrink everyone!

Theres a 5k this Saturday, but I didn’t really train for it.
OTOH, I’ve started my training for the San Francisco Marathon in July.
I teach Taekwondo, so I stay pretty active. But starting in June, my personal goal plan calls for me to pick up the pace and start getting ready to test for 6th Degree in June of 2009.
My sister and I are doing a mini triathlon in August. We’ve been swimming laps at the Y and the bike shouldn’t be a problem. I’m worried about running more than anything because I have a bad knee.
Train slowly. I’m the poster-child for overdoing it and training too much too soon. Makes my joints grumpy.
