Or Porky’s, for that matter.
Two movies doesn’t make a trend, but Steve Carrell having something ripped off his chest has happened twice (that I know of). There was the famous body waxing scene in 40-Year-Old Virgin, and then he ripped a wire (i.e., hidden microphone) off his chest in Date Night.
There is no such movie.
There was a time when Lauren Holly would crescent-kick someone in the face in just about every role.
And now I feel stupid. I remember that.
I did see it on television, but it was HBO, so they didn’t cut it out.
I liked Biehn in Whoosh 3. (Did he die in that?)
Sorry, that link doesn’t lead to a real movie. I think you’ve been hoaxed.
James Cagney punching someone out became such a cliche that he started playing around with it. I think it was in The Roaring Twenties that he knocked out two guys with a single punch.
I just thought of another one…
Timothy Olyphant seems to land roles that are intense and/or psychotic. He has a knack for staring oddly in his roles. His Deadwood role (Seth Bullock) was a perfect example of this, as well as his role in Live Free or Die Hard and Hitman.
But he’s positively adorable and even cuddly in The Broken Hearts Club.
It was Tombstone. It’s not that he twirls objects, it’s that he runs things over his fingers, like the silver coin in the beginning of the movie, or a pen in Top Gun. He does it in Batman Forever too.
Robert Carlyle frequently had a bare-ass shot. On the commentary track for "Ravenous, he laughs and mentions the obligatory shot, so I know it’s not just me noticing it.
