Didn’t see this posted yet, apologies if it has been.

I know the guy has had his problems over the years, some of his own making, but this is pretty sad. I hope he survives and turns his life around.

Poor guy. He stopped being funny as a punchline a long time ago.

Poor Coleman. He has had multiple health issues I wouldn’t wish on anyone, and I’m surprised he has lived as long as he has. He has my sympathies, and I hope he is able to make some kind of recovery.

I know some people who know him. They say he is a really good guy, and shrugs off all the mocking he gets.

I hope he recovers.

Died. RIP, little dude.

Yeah, CNN is reporting he’s dead, nothing online yet.

TMZ and The Superficial both have the story up.

Yeah, just heard that a couple of minutes ago on the radio. Rest well, Gary.

Wow. That’s making me sadder than I thought it would.

And I’m not usually one to engage in really irresponsible rumor-mongering, but we have a guy who’s been in trouble with the law for domestic violence before, and now he got injured in the head when he ‘fell.’

Seems funny to me.

RIP. Sounds like it was a painful life.

RIP, Gary.

RIP, Gary. It’s really unfair how much mockery he was the subject of, when he just couldn’t sustain an acting career anymore. Plenty of child actors never make an adult career out of it. At least he didn’t end up as a drug addict or a suicide.

Well, “Avenue Q” is screwed.

Sad news.

When I was younger, I loved him in the TV movie “The Kid with the Broken Halo” where he played an angel living in a locker at Grand Central Station. Anyone else remember that?

Whatyoutalkingabout, Alice the Goon?

Seems this is pretty well confirmed. I’ve edited the thread title, which was originally “Actor Gary Coleman in coma; on life support.”

Well, it looks like Todd Bridges is the only one of the Different Strokes kids still alive.
Sad.

And surprising.

That’s like Brian being the only one of the Wilson brothers still alive.

Too bad he didn’t get to enjoy his adult life. I recall when he first got his break by doing commercial for Harris Bank in Chicago

Well, of the original three. Danny Cooksey’s still alive.
