15 years ago Kunis was 16 and starting the second season of That 70s Show. She wasn’t exactly a big deal then. But she’s been in a string of movies since then and is probably somewhere in the B+/A- range.
Actually, wasn’t Kunis some magazine or another’s official Sexiest Woman Alive a year or two ago? Not that I think those magazine lists are at all accurate, but they are an indication of the current views of the industry.
Oh yeah, Esquire last year! Sadly, their recommendation doesn’t count for much. Jessica Biel got that nod a few years ago and it didn’t help her career any.
A- sounds about right for Mila Kunis. She did headline some movies that did pretty well, like Friends with Benefits and The Great and Powerful Oz, so great stuff is still coming from her!
I think Kate McKinnon will be up there soon with Ghostbusters. (Leslie Jones too, but she’s 41.)
