Actors who got their "start" on Twilight Zone

^ He was in four. The two episodes that you didn’t mention are Printer’s Devil and The Obsolete Man.

The episode you’re calling All the Time in the World was actually titled Time Enough at Last.

Veronica Cartwright was in “I Sing the Body Electric.”

Yes, but she didn’t get her start on that show. She was in Citizen Kane and The Magnificent Ambersons in the early 40s. Having a major role in an Orson Welles movie disqualifies one from newbie status.

she was a well established radio actor starting in the 30s.

Huh, the only one I could think of hasn’t been mentioned yet: pre-“Andy Griffith” Ron Howard.

One of these days try Shock Corridor. Heck of a little movie.

Surprised no one has mentioned Peter Falk. Granted, he’d been nominated for two academy awards by then, so I guess his TZ role was hardly a “start.”

Saw one on Syfy’s recent marathon with a pre-Beverly Hillbillies Buddy Ebson playing a telekinetic helping his boss cheat at gambling. I don’t know if I’d have ever figured out who he was if I hadn’t read the episode description.

Sure, a lot of actors that are well-known today had roles on the TZ, but that wasn’t unique to TZ. If you check out any series in the late 50’s/early 60’s that had a decent run you’ll find the same cadre of actors. Shatner was in Thriller, 77 Sunset Strip, and Alfred Hitchcock Presents. This last Hitchcock series started before TZ and had a most distinguished cast, some of whom also appeared on TZ, but many who did not (like Steve McQueen and Robert Morse). You’ll find younger versions of Shatner, Coburn, and Bronson on AHP. Both TZ and AHP give you a look at some successful actors at a very early stage of their careers.

Actually, he was on twice - “The Grave”, and “The Resurrection of Jesse Myrtlebank”.

^ Three times. His third time was in the episode Jess-Belle.

The one that always stuck in my mind was Best Actor Academy Award winner to be Cliff Robertson when he did a very nice turn as an Old West father looking for help for his son in the 1950s.

I was just congratulating myself today on spotting him in, I think, episode five of season one. He was only about five years old at the time.

No one has mentioned Suzanne Cupito yet. You might know her better by her stage name:Morgan Brittany
