There’s a new ad for Excedrin Migraine medicine with an actress I recognize but can’t place. I’m guessing some indie film, but can’t get any more specific than that in the 15 seconds that the commercial runs. It’s driving me batty. Any ideas?

Since the OP has been answered, I’ll just mention that Ellie was my favorite of the Bartlett daughters.
Zoey always sounded like she sprayed spittle whenever she spoke. Kinda creeped me out.
Glad I wasn’t the only one to have this reaction when I saw this commercial. I remember her creepy turn on the late lamented Invasion more than her run as Zoey.
This isn’t a new commercial. It first ran in the fifth or sixth season of West Wing. It was pointed out how noticable it was that one of the actors on the show was in a commercial (and it ran right after one of her scenes, IIRC).
“If you didn’t see it the first time, it’s new to you.” I’d already given up on West Wing prior to her joining the show, so I don’t recall her/it from there.
I am glad, however, to know that she’s not moonlighting from Mad Men to do pain reliever ads.
