On the article about acupuncture, my physiology teacher (doctor) told us that it doesnt cure, but it stimulates morphine-like deposits in our bodies, curing pain but not the illness. I could and probably am wrong but thats what i heard…

Evil Adam, the older article mentions the point that you mentioned in your post, the release of endorphins in the body.
