Acupunture for Sphincter Muscle Dysfunction

I know what you’re probably thinking, but it isn’t what I’m asking. My doctor has discovered my esophagus sphincter muscle is too tight. I’ve had a couple of procedures done to correct this, but to no avail. After much research on the Net through the last 7 months of intense pain in my upper abdomen, I’ve concluded that my Sphincter of Oddi is also too tight. My doctor thinks this is a possibility too, but the test to find out if it is true, followed by procedures needed to correct, all come with a 25-37% probablity of getting pancretitis. I can’t say I’m fond of that idea at all.
Does anyone know, or does anyone know where I can find out if an acupuncturist can relive these two muscles, thus eliminating that risk? I’ve gone to an acupunturist once before for my abdomenal pain, and have been trying for the last three days to get her to answer this one blasted question, but so far no response from her.
Also, for the record…yes, I know MAYBE with proper diet and a slew of trial and error I MIGHT be able to relax these muscles too, however, after 10 months of extreme pain (the first three months of this pain was compounded by gallstone/gall bladder problems, so I was thinking it was the gall bladder until that was removed), I don’t want to seek maybes or mights. I want to be fixed, but would rather not get worse in the process.
