Now it seems we have auto insurance wars…

How do these things get started? Does someone eventually call a truce?

Also, talk about your favorites and anything else related to ad wars.

Typically at the first or second price fixing meeting.

Perhaps they could try a battle royale between Flo the Progressive Chic and Erin Esurance.

They appear to be based upon the same logic as political attack ads. Cleaning products seem especially concerned with convincing the viewer of the competing product’s inferiority.

Progresso soup had one of the most obnoxious, smarmiest, and elitist campaigns against Campbell’s.

OK, why, just in the past year or so, has the auto insurance industry been buying up the airwaves, and not sooner?

Why don’t Coke and Pepsi seem to care anymore, but at one time, they certainly did care?

Same with fast food places? Where’s the beef?
