Have animals in general shown any signs of adapting or evolving in areas where thier is heavy deforestation or other loss of habitat? I know in the city of Los Angeles and surrounding suburbs things like skunks, possums, foxes, bobcats, coyotes etc have increased their numbers over the years. Most of the rainforest animals being lost are vegetarians so it is a bit tougher on them.
