Is quire a word? Like where quobbits live?

I don’t know what the standard is, but I had heard of the word as a measure of paper like a ream (although I couldn’t have told you how much).

I’ve been using Wiktionary to check whether any of the five-letter sequences are words. And quire is in there.

Well, obviously I don’t bother to check impossible sequences like “nquir” or “xecut”. A few rounds ago I wanted to post “exaggerate” until I found that “agger” is an English word (something to do with tides).
