Adenovirus

I am an EMT student doing a research paper on adenoviruses and so far have found minimal information. Can someone give me some info on them?

I hate to resort to SDMB cliches, but I just did a Google search for adenovirus and it gave me 70,000 hits.

General procedures for starting research projects centered on diseases.

Internet procedure:

  1. Go to http://www.cdc.gov/
  2. Click on health topics A-Z
  3. Click on first letter of the topic you are interested in (e.g., A)
  4. If the disease you are interested in is on the list, click on it (e.g., clilcking on adenoviruses takes you to http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/dvrd/revb/respiratory/eadfeat.htm which has info and links)

Library procedure:

  1. Go to library and ask for "Control of Communicable Diseases Manual published by APHA and edited by James Chin.
  2. Look up the disease you are interested in. In the case of adenoviruses, you have to look in the index.

yeah true you get 70 000 hits bob but most of them have little or nothing to do with the adenovirus…
