Hi, Xamatix. I’ve seldom seen anyone come back from being banned, and I hope you will take the reprieve to become a useful member of the Board. We can always use more voices from overseas and your writing style is vivid and your arguments nice and clear.

A good rule of thumb on this board is:
Hit the post button. It went through. Don’t believe anything you see that says it didn’t go through.
In the incredibly rare instance it didn’t, you can open the thread, and see if your reply is listed, BEFORE you hit “post” again.

“Previewing” the thread will sometimes work too. I’ve been surprised to hit “submit” then got “all the hamsters are dead” message, but on previewing saw that my post was indeed the most recent one there after all.
As Dex noted, earlier,
Some super-secret analysis along with the information (above) provided by LurkMeister persuaded the staff that xamatix was not a sock. We don’t ban for fun, so with the evidence pointing away from sock-puppetry, the decision was reversed.

Quit hijacking threads with your obsessive “poor me I’m a victim” schtick. Jeez.
A bit over-the-top in language for ATMB but dead-on in observation. Your interactions with Aldebaran were disgraceful, Mehitabel, and you were warned for them. Interjecting yourself into this thread was rude and intrusive. The surest way to avoid emnity is to not seek it out in the first place.
Drop your obsessive grudge already. We’re sick and tired of it. This thread is about Xamatix, not you. We’re welcoming her back, so stop raining on her parade.

So…I can’t be upset when a new poster says flat out that I’m staying up at night obsessing about someone, which is total nonsense? I didn’t even respond when she mentioned me in the Pit, and I offered a truce right away when I heard she was coming back. I honestly don’t see why I can’t ask for one here, in a more civil forum.
Never mind…I’m so sorry. I’m very emotionally brittle right now due to issues that have nothing to do with the Board and am way too quick to take offense where presumably none was intended. It did hurt me to see what Xamatix wrote about me in her Pit thread but I realize that she’s entitled to her opinons.
Since I seem unable to deal with issues more serious than last night’s ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT right now 
I’m taking a break and logging out, although I’ll still take a look and see how my friends here are doing. See you in two weeks, thanks.

Just curious – since this all worked out for the best, would it not be best to just delete this whole thread? Leaving it up doesn’t seem to accomplish much except to create confusion and let people know that **xamatix ** was once under a cloud, albeit mistakenly.
Sounds reasonable.
