I would like to use AI for more pen-based illustration (I do it all in PhotoShop now, with my Wacom). But it has this annoying feature: After you draw a line with the brush tool, the line stays selected. Then, if you go to draw a second line but are too close to the first, AI assumes that you, instead, want to redraw the first line–it deletes line 1 and leaves you with just line 2.
How can I disable this? I want my lines to stay put after I’ve drawn them!
