I wondered how long it would take to get to this point! It was even quicker than I expected! 
Hm. Interesting thought. She does seem to be sleeping - and otherwise acting - normally. But I’ll keep an eye on that.
Another update (if anyone’s paying attention 
) : I have been trying to be good about feeding her the exact same times each day - 10 and 10. The last couple of days have been exclusively Fancy Feast. So far pretty good. She is eating about 1/2 to 3/4 of each 3 oz. can, over the course of the 12 hours. That’s better than she was doing before. I also hear her nibbling on the dry food from time to time. So while she’s not eating as much as she should (and not the type of food I’d prefer) she’s at least being consistent, which is an improvement.
She is still vomiting bile couple of times between meals though, mostly at night. It seems like she eats a little bit, digests it, gets hungry again, vomits, then eats again. Rinse, repeat. We’ll see if this continues, maybe her tummy just needs to expand. I want to keep it simple and make sure she is eating something consistently for a while before I try to make any changes.

I’d call the vet again. This sounds an awful lot like my poor kitty before she was diagnosed with lymphoma. From the wikipedia page on lymphoma in animals:

I too thought this was going to be a thread about eating cats. We’ve already been talking about ways to kill them so it seems like the next step.
