Chrissie Hynde actually played a competitor to Phoebe, not her ex-partner. I don’t know who that actress/musician was though.

Dear Jesus, please forgive me.

"How can I grow if you won’t let me Blow?

Now, honey you… you know I don’t have a problem with that.

LOL!

The one who played Phoebe’s ex-partner was EG Daily, who is the voice of Tommy on Rugrats.

Phoebe: “Our mothers worked on the barge together.” Monica: “You two must have been so cute running around on a barge!”
Phoebe: “You NEVER run on a barge!”
quoted from memory
oh, just shoot me now.

THAT’S IT! That has been driving me crazy every time I see that episode. I knew I knew that voice.

Charlie Sheen was a naval officer/boyfriend of Phoebe’s and they got chicken pox together.

What about Giovanni Ribisi as Phoebe’s idiot half-brother?

Jack, by my count you’re at 18 correct, and two away from claiming the chocolate.

I can not believe I forgot about Charlie Sheen and Brook Shields

More names:

As someone mentioned before Fergie
Jon Favreu
Who is the smartest friend?

Ross/Chandler: a tossup between them for the #1 spot.
Monica
Rachel
Phoebe
Joey: no arguments here.

Comments:

I am actually not sure about Rachel and Phoebe. Rachel seems to have a slightly above average IQ–around 110 I estimate–while Phoebe is too goofy and full of strange beliefs as to provide a sound basis to ascertain her intelligence. In any case Rachel has matured as the show has evolved and from that maturity has surfaced an apparently more intelligent person. On the other hand, Phoebe is, well, same old Phoebe. Hence, I will give a slight edge to Rachel.

Note: it is possible than in another incarnation Phoebe could have been smarter though.

Don’t forget Soleil Moon Frye (I think that’s her name. She was Punky Brewster.)

Which ones am I missing? I know I can get them.

Two characters that I think have really been suffering recently are Phoebe, who has gotten really bitchy, and Ross, whose nerdiness has gone right over the top to the point where he’s intolerable.

But I love the show. Totally.
