A good book that has facts is “New Views on an Old Planet”, by van Andel. The “facts” noted above are not based on any kind of science.
I have to stop now, I get all worked up about this.
I work in a room with three geologists and a biologist. We’re all over here ROTFL.
Drivel.

Reminds me of a guy that was in my now-defunct writers’ club; he insisted that the Earth was extremely young.
And he wondered why his “sci-fi” stories never sold. Prejudiced editors, right?
I had a friend tell me at lunch today that he thinks the Earth really isn’t as old as ‘all the scientists think it is.’ And that carbon dating isn’t really reliable. I did my best to keep my eyebrows in place. I just sent him this link and am waiting to hear his response.
