Yes she has. In the episode with the fire producing guy a bunch of folks were killed in their lab at her order.
Which is why the somewhat predictable Ward gains redemption through death is sort of broadcast obvious. Clark Gregg is likable. May kicks ass. Fitz Simmons are adorable. Skye is - well, they’ve pinned to much plot on Skye. So the shows chemistry needs tweaking and Ward is the most disposable part to tweak. Had the fan response to the series been stronger or the fan response to Ward been stronger, its possible no one, or someone different, would have been thrown under the bus.
He isn’t charismatic as a bad guy or a good guy. Turns out it takes more than “good looking guy” to get traction.
I just want to see Coulson unbutton his jacket, kick Ward’s arse, then literally kick him out of the Bus while in flight. No parachute this time.
If Coulson was Malcolm Reynolds and Ward was Jayne and the Bus was Serenity, that would so happen.
Maybe. But it also makes sense not to plot against somebody who you think has clairvoyance. Finding out that person is just another ordinary human like you are might make you reconsider the odds.
And Ward? She doesn’t know his back story. She just knows he became Garrett’s trusted lieutenant by betraying people who trusted him. A possibility to explore if she’s looking for somebody to betray Garrett.
I just can’t buy that Ward is redeemable when he’s willingly killed so many times. Skye was a rebel who turned to the good side once she spent time with them and worked with them. I can’t imagine anything that could excuse Ward sticking with Garrett all this time when he’s been a SHIELD agent for so long.
It seems to me that redemption is the last thing on the mind of the writers. I think it is much more likely that Ward bites it in some way that turns him into a super-villain. They could tweak the origin story of an existing bad guy, or make up a completely new one that will then appear in the comics, like Coulson has. Much better use of the character than a lousy redemption arc.
What if he hooks up with Skye and then she gets pregnant and dies after giving birth to twins and decades later Garrett tries to recruit Ward’s kids to Hydra and then Ward finds out that they’re his kids and turns against Garrett to save his children and then Hydra gets destroyed by furry spear-carrying midgets? And then in the final scene we see Ward’s ghost alongside the ghosts of Phil Coulson and [del]Mace Windu[/del] Nick Fury and they’re all best buddies again.
That would suck of course.
Anyone know how many more episodes there are this season?

No, it wouldn’t suck until they did the prequel series, Anakin Fury and His Howlin’ Gungans.
I’m hoping to see Ward become the team’s arch-frenemey.
Oooh! I wondered if that One Shot was a feeler. Agent Carter to ogle and Howard Stark to want to punch and Nick Fury, Sr so there are uncomfortable, but oh so inspirational, stories about Junior’s youth in the 50s. It makes me dizzy.
