Ahhh, exam grades

That fucking teacher!
So i got back my talmud grade, and i got an 84. On any other exam, i wouldn’t have cared, because grades don’t matter much to me. What bothered me was that he gave my paper, that deserved a 90(at least) an 84, while he gave crappy papers other people wrote 90’s and 100’s. And do you know why he did this? Because this prick fucking hates me. Why does he hate me? Because i commited blasphemy in his class. The worst part is that since the test was totally subjective, there is no way i can appeal it. This sucks. For one comment from me, he has screwed up my GPA.

-For those who don’t know, talmud is jewish law and commentary on the old testament.

You are pissed about [size=20)6[/size] percentage points!?
Take your paper to him and ask him [politely] to explain how it deserved 84, what was right with it and what was wrong with it.

Or (if you dare) borrow one of the inferior papers that got a higher score, take both to him, and ask him to compare them.

Take said papers to another teacher - ask the other teacher to grade them.

I hate it when tags don’t work! umph!

‘6’

I was just thinking “that ruined the whole post”. Then I remembered a scene in simpsons where two soldiers are in adjacent shower cubicles. One is talking about how his whole hike was ruined. The other swears or something. The first then say something like “oww, now you said a bad word, you’ve ruined the whole shower” in a slightly camp slightly childish tone of voice.

And I had a good giggle.

And people frowned at me for sharing this pointless bit of information.

And then I thought about how much I don’t care about that.

And then I shut up.

And then I made a “me too” post replying to Lobsang’s first reply in this thread.

Is it possible that the teacher doesn’t hate you, but actually couldn’t care less about you?

Is it possible your paper is worse than you think it is and you’re in denial because it is easier to put the responsibility on another party instead of admitting to yourself that “you suck” (for lack of a more accurate term)?
