I seem to recall hearing something about an airbag-equiped suit for motorcyclists. Has anyone else seen this? How does it work? Where can I buy one?
Thanks,
Oleg

Google is your friend.
Here is a news story from 4 years ago.
Here is a catalog listing.
Put “motorcycle airbag” into a Google search and browse through hundreds of your own hits
I know about this – I wrote about it.
I interviewed a rep for Dianese (actually, it was one of the founding family members), the Italian firm that specializes in very high-end safety gear for motorcyclists, skiers, bikers, etc.
Their airbag, years in development, is computer-sensor controlled, not tethered to the bike like the one in CWG’s link. It will be available for sale in Europe this fall, and in the US sometime thereafter. (Anticipated price = between $1,000 and $2,000.)
If you go to their website (sorry, no time to post a link) you’ll probably be able to view a slo-mo video of the product in action (using a crash dummy). The timelapse sequence is pretty impressive.
