There’s no way I’d class myself as either scared of heights or a nervous flyer, but there’s something about seeing “Altitude: 600ft” on the screens just after take off which is a whole lot more real than “Altitude: 37 000ft” at cruise. Those are 600 very real feet. 37 thou is just an abstract concept.
One thing I love about the dope is the references. But don’t all you Nightmare at 40000 Feet people worry about trying to lean your seat back and making the wings fall off?
