I fly infrequently enough that looking out the window still registers as “pretty neat”.
I panic when I’m confined too, but I’m already confined in the plane so I bring meds just in case. Window for me because I don’t get up and don’t want others having to get past me. Not for the view since I’m scared of heights!
I don’t fly, although I have in the past. If I ever do again, I will try not to sit next to the window. I’m afraid of heights.
On a long international flight, once they’ve dimmed the lights after they’ve served the meal, then I will stretch them out into the aisle area. I don’t keep them there, but it does feel good to stretch out.
I voted for window seat, but I rarely get it, because I almost always give it to my son.
You know all of you “Window Sleepers” really tick off us “Window Wanting people who got stuck in an Aisle.” Some of us like to look out the window, and the sleepers keep us away from the window and half the time pull down the shade. Get a neck pillow and sleep wherever.
I’m OK with you being angry.
On shorter flights I prefer isle. On longer fights window is preferred.
No problem my wife feels the same. Just remember if you pull down the shade or give me a dirty look while I lean over you to look out… I will have no problem taking that center arm rest and not being at all subtle about taking my shoes and socks off, asking you questions while you are trying to sleep, laughing loudly about something on my phone, and even letting a big one rip if I can muster it.
Seriously… I’ll loan you my neck pillow, and promise to keep my seat back in the upright position so you can recline and lean your head against it, and let you hog the shared arm rest if you just trade me… then you can sleep AND stretch out.
(aside) I stayed in your city once when I was there for a soccer tournament (very nice complex nearby by the way) and got laughed at when I told the person at the rental car counter that I would be staying in Leo-Minster (like a “normal” person would say it).
Aside, in First or Business, please. Window, as long as drinks don’t run out (as long as the driver is sober, I don’t have to be). What is this ‘middle’ seat of which you speak?
Window. I have an obscenely large bladder and don’t mind sitting for many hours at a time. I like the view and playing with my GPS. I also am likely to set up a laptop or other electronics and don’t want to move it every time someone has to cross.
