…and anatomically correct ?
If so then maybe the robot…
If not, and if it includes the cost of usage, then the plane! So many places I’d love to go if not for airfare…

I’d like a robotic Gerard Butler, please. Wearing nothing but a little hat.
If the plane included pilot’s payroll, paperwork and permits, fuel, etc.–hands down, the airplane.
If the plane comes with gas, I’d go with that. I loved learning to fly small planes but could only rent them by the weekend.
Airplane.
Hell, I’ll even pay for my own gas. Operating costs would be nice, but I swung it before.
(Uh, yeah, I’m a pilot so no need to hire one)
Gynoid Maid, instead?
Are you questioning whether or not the robot butler would have the “Pleasure Upgrade Kit”?
Don’t have money for fuel, for lessons, don’t have a nearby airport or a car to drive me there (we have just one car between my husband and I, and I’d have to drive him to the airport to go flying), don’t have a lot of time.
On the other hand, I already love the Roomba that I own, so a robot butler - as long as it was mechanically reliable and plugged in/had solar panels for recharging options - would rock. Yeah, I’m all non-adventurous and stuff, whatever, I can live with that perception.
A real robot butler that could actually clean out my cave would be my choice.
Oscar Madison would be getting out the cleaning supplies for my apartment, were he here.
I despise doing housework, so I’d pick the robot butler in a heartbeat.
robot butler
If all the hassles of hiring pilots, paying for fuel and airport costs, paperwork, etc. are magically taken care of, I’ll take the airplane. My family is spread out over three continents, and it would be nice to be able to get together anytime we wanted.
Otherwise, robot butler. Although I’d prefer a robot maid, with a few of the extra “functionalities” that other posters have mentioned.
:smack: This should have been “…have to drive him to work to go flying)”. Because we don’t have much time together and I’d have to fly on a Saturday while he’s working. I’d have to have a whole lot of things magically taken care of for an airplane to improve my life a fair amount.
I think we need a ruling on the plane option. No normal person can afford the upkeep and fuel on a Lear Jet. Even a minor multi-millionaire couldn’t do it. What is included in this deal? I would be happy with a simple bush plane like a Husky or even a Piper Cub in nice shape but all planes run on money more than fuel. If everything is included then an Air Force One 747 configuration then that would be a no brainer. I would even take a small plane if it it was all paid for otherwise I doubt that any of us could afford to run a plane with any complexity beyond a very old one or an ultralight.
Not to dissuade you from your robot butler choice, but as a pilot in the Chicago area I am having trouble imagining which suburb you live in that is NOT near an airport… there are a bunch more in the area besides O’Hare and Midway, and it’s the little-known dinky fields you’d probably want to take lessons in. Just FYI.
Personally, if expense was no problem I’d opt for a Stearman, not a 747, but then I’m weird.
If I have to cover the costs I’d either opt for a Citabria, a RV-6, C172 (earlier model) or Piper Warrior. Hmm… think the RV-6 would be the most bang for the buck.
I am going to go with this…
I would like to travel. Maybe go to Hawaii if I wanted for the weekend. Plus. If I had this plane, I would never be home to need a butler anyways. If I’m not home, there would be no mess.
Airplane.
If all the hassles were taken care of then great. Otherwise I’d be hopping on the internet - I’m sure some of the business charter flight companies would lease a brand new Learjet off me, which would take care of the running costs, storage, maintenance etc.
(admittedly I have a thing for fighter bombers, but chartering opportunities are few and far between for them, you need a crew, and I don’t think the london aviation authorities would be happy about one in the city airspace)
Programed in a variety of techniques.
