If you rubbed a magic lamp and a genie came out and said he could grant you one of two wishes, one of which is your own personal airplane to be used for business or leisure and the other is a personal robot butler with a little hat, which would you choose?
I would choose the hatted robutler, for he is a tidy chap that cleans my messes, and I do appreciate that.

Aviation is one of my few personal passions and about the strongest one so it would always be an airplane for me even if it were a small and simple one.

Assuming you mean a robot butler which is capable of anything a human butler, such as Alfred, is capable of, definitely the butler. If you mean current state of the art robot butler, I’d go for the plane.
Robot butler that transforms into a jet. And the jet is VTOL capable and has stealth technology.
While I’m at it, can the robot butler be shaped like a monkey butler? With a monocle? That would be sweet, thanks.

Is the robot butler ‘fully functional’?
Well, it sort of depends. I mean, I’d much rather have the airplane, but if the genie isn’t providing me with free maintenance and fuel (and aviation lessons), then I can’t afford it. So in that case, I’d take the butler.
Was there ever any more useless droid than him?
I guess it kind of depends if the airplane is cost free and I can get a pilot to go with it then that would be the option I would take, maybe a leer jet and since stuff with the plane is free I would want a full bar in the passenger section. Other wise I’ll take my robot butler slave at least its free and I could set him on the Mormons when they come to the door.
Airplane, no question. I’m fine with getting my own meals and cleaning up after myself. Plus, flying is something I’ve wanted to do for a while now.

Well, as much as I love flight, I’m not a real-life pilot, and an aircraft would have need much of logistical and paperwork support than I’d be able to give it.
On the other hand, if I treat the robot butler kindly enough, maybe he’ll put in a good word for me when his people conquer the Earth. Which they almost inevitably will.
Failing that…hey, a butler. (A maid would be even better. Y’know, for general housework…and an immortal companion to at least stay by my side while the entire world slowly rots and dies around me, before I eventually succumb and join it. You have to look on the bright side of things, after all.)
I like to ogle jet airplanes, too. 
No question at all, the airplane. A servant may remove chores from one’s life, but flying adds so much to mine.
