Albert Temple, artist/author of webcomic Gene Catlow has passed away.
I became aware of the comic via The Belfry Comic index.
A bit of a guilty pleasure once one find his more adult material, the comic was a very trippy adventure comic with political elements, but I did like it nevertheless, Not the same kind of material one saw in newspaper comics thats for sure. And the furry subject is not for everyone. I was very interested though on how he managed to not miss many updates and maintain quality. Something that one commentator pointed out is not common to see with many independent web comic series.
How he managed that is something that I wanted to ask him someday as I want to someday start a hard sci-fi web-comic going, too late to ask him that… :(.
I have not read that strip in years, but I remember it.
He was a good cartoonist.
