The Sound of Speed by Husker Du
Not to nitpick too much, but unless I’ve had my head up my ass for the last 20 years and missed a release by my all-time favorite band, Husker Du never had an album entitled “The Sound Of Speed” (though it is a good title). They did have an album called Land Speed Record, but I’m not sure if that deserves top honors.
I’ve only ever bought one album because of the title.

Dim the Lights, Chill the Ham by Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet (the guys from Kids in the Hall)
The Sound Of Speed is an album by The Jesus & Mary Chain. I was pretty sure it was something to do with Husker Du as well, but I can’t find any trace…oh well!
Lifestylez Ov Da Poor & Dangerous - Big L (Mizpelin stuf iz da kool wey!)
40 oz to Freedom - Sublime
Robbin’ the Hood - Sublime (although the album isn’t very good.)
Evil Empire - Rage Against the Machine
OK Computer - Radiohead (although I’m not a Radiohead fan)
The band: Fuck
The album: “Pardon my French”
Pure genius
As Falls Wichita, So Falls Wichita Falls - Pat Metheny & Lyle Mays
Glorious Results of a Misspent Youth - Joan Jett and the Blackhearts
