Its a fact that alfalfa produces a toxin that stops some plants from growing in the same area.
Its also a great feed for ruminants. Makes pretty good hay and is a favored feed for my neighbor the dairy.
What I’m wondering is how long does the toxin remain in the soil after the alfalfa is gone.
