Wow! I haven’t felt this nostalgic about Ohio since . . . well . . . never.
It was the Ghoulardi reference that got me. Reminded me of (snaps fingers rapidly) Houlihand and Big Chuck? “The Kielbasa Kid” and watching Captain Penny on the Cleveland station whose call letters have been blown away in the windmills of my mind.
We moved from Warren (near Youngstown, near Cleveland) in 1970 for North Carolina, and just recently moved up to Harrisburg, Pa., suffering severe culture shock in the process.
Wow. Ohio. Far out.
