It’s just been released today! It’s about freaking time. I stumbled onto this film on cable one night, and fell in love with it. It’s even been spoofed on Family Guy!

That is excellent! I love that movie! Now if The Turning Point will get released on DVD, I will be very happy.
Ya know, Tuckerfan, I think I love you. It’s not everyday I stumble over a guy that is even more intense about the Space Program than I am AND likes a dance movie. 
Heh. Hate to burst your bubble, Bubbles, but I’m not a big fan of dance. Never learning how is part of it, I suppose.
Still, having studied (albeit briefly) martial arts, I can appreciate the skills that a good dancer must posses.
You like a dance movie though!
And if you appreciate the athletics involved, you must see
Mikhail Baryshnikov in The Turning Point. My god. The man defied gravity in his prime.
I dunno if I would call All that jazz a dance movie, in spite of the settings. That would be akin to calling Flashdance a welding movie.
This is one the my top5 movies of all times. The non linear narration, dream sequences mixed with the real world. Demons and angst and self-destruction. It’s just brilliant, and Roy Scheider was never better.
It’s quite obvious that Fosse was a true cinematic genius. To bad his last movie sucked.
