He probably saved my life, and I first heard of him here on this board. He’s the “EasyWay to Stop Smoking” guy, and I’ve been smoke-free now since May 2005. He died of lung cancer. 
RIP Allen, and thanks for writing that book.
Saw the thread title and thought it was about the guy who produced Grease and Can’t Stop the Music. But that was Allan Carr . And he was already dead.
I’m sorry to hear it. Also heard of the book on this board. After reading it, I was able to quit for a couple weeks, but failed.
