I’ve suffered from allergies to dust and grass for 20+ years. It was to the point where cutting the grass without wearing a mask of some sort would reduce me to a snot oozing, sneezing blob for two whole days (Get in line ladies! I know you all want me now!) Two years ago, due to another unrelated malady, I was told by my doctor to increase my water intake. I had never been a big water drinker, but I started to religiously drink about 1000ml or more a day and I’ve done so ever since.
Oddly enough, my allergies went away. I mean, I might sneeze once or twice after mowing the lawn, but it’s nothing like it once was. Is there any correlation between the two? I can’t think of any other changes in my life that might contribute to this decrease in symptoms; stress levels are the same, I haven’t moved, I’m not taking any drugs or vitamins.
Is it just a coincedence? Did I just happen to grow out of my allergies at the same time I increased my water intake? Is the improved hydration allowing my body to better wash away the foreign matter that might otherwise cause me to produce histamine? Have the grasses surrounding my house suddenly mutated into a new hypo-allergenic species?
Could sufferers of airborne allergies be cured by simply consuming more of the worlds most abundant resource, rather than taking Claritin? Has medical science known this all along and has been keeping it from us so that pharmecutical companies can make a buck? Who are the men in black, and why do they fly around my house in those silent helicopters?
…and what about those crop circles???
