My oldest daughter is called Alma (fairly common around these parts). The other day I was told there is a statue of an Alma outside the University of Columbia (US). Is this true, and if so is there anybody who can tell me something about this?

There is a Columbia University in New York City, a University of Missouri campus in Columbia, Missouri and a University of South Carolina campus in Columbia, South Carolina. To my knowleddge there is not a school named “University of Columbia.” Could you be more specific?
