The Alpha-Stim is being sold as a device that uses microcurrents to fight pain and insomnia. I myself came across it and have found people who swear by it. Is it a valid device, or would the people have the same results with crystals and shiny rocks? The homepage is here.
Hmmmmmm…1st time I’d heard of it. The data they present is not real impressive from a scientific standpoint, no controls, no comparison to traditional TENS unit therapy, a lot of jargon that sounds a bit specious. I’m dubious, I’d stick with a traditional TENS unit, instead of this microcurrent stuff, especially with them peddling it for $595 a crack.
Just my minimally educated opinion, haven’t researched this further than looking at their web page
