alphabet

Looking at the flag pictures for the alphabet at this site with lots of Marine terms:
http://4mermarine.com/USMC/dictionary.html
made me remember an old article Cecil did on the different names for the letters used by various organisations such as alpha, bravo, charlie, delta, etc. used by the Marines. He did list only English variants as I remember but I am sure that alphabets must have been created for other languages, which can be very helpful when talking to a foreigner. For example, ‘e’ is pronounced like short ‘a’ in Lithuanian, ‘i’ is pronounced like long ‘e’. Unfortunately, there is no official alphabet; everyone makes up their own.

Can any of our foreign language speaking readers add the alphabets for their languages? Thanks.
