If dear old dad were alive today, he’d be 86, and yep, he was a WW2 vet.
Makes sense: they’re targeting exactly the demographic they should be - provided there ARE any WW2 vets still with us! Which of course there are. Quite a few of 'em in fact. Those guys were born tough, and they’ll die tough.
But I gotta wonder: how long before channels like that targeting the soldiers of **MY **era: Vietnam… :eek:
I already noted it was unsurprising that such a documentary would attract a number of older viewers.
I’m reasonably sure though that there are people studying ancient Greek and Roman history who have not been dead for thousands of years, if you catch my drift.
