I agree. Of the remaining five teams, I want K&G to win. If not, then Jv&J, followed by the Wonder Twins. If it came to Flo and Zach or Terry and Ian, I’d go for Flo and Zach…but only barely.
I still want something like on Survivor where Terry and Zach are forced to team up and Flo and Ian are too…and we get to watch the harpy eat Ian’s liver
I’m sorry, hysterical screeching trumps skimpy black tank top any day. Props to Zach, though. He is a good racer, and is too much of a gentleman to lay the smackdown on the shrill harpy. (If only Teri would lay the smackdown on Ian.)
Now that we’re down to two pretty teams, I’m surprised that I had any trouble telling Flo and Jill apart. Ugh, that voice! Definitely not something I’d want to hear early in the morning. Or any other time of day, for that matter.
No, Ian, the race designers will not arrange the remaining legs to allow you to maintain your FF-derived lead. Twit.
Also, any plan that begins with “If we race from here on out without making any mistakes” is a failed plan. Because you will make mistakes. The skill is in recovering from them.
I also must confess that I think Flo is kinda hot, but that’s purely a physical reaction. Screeching drives the lust away.
I realized last night that there’s only one team – Teri and Ian – that I really want to see eliminated now. I’d like FloZach to come in fourth. And the other three? I’ll be sorry to see any of them go.
This episode seemed rather…slow for some reason. I’m amazed that so much has come down to performance at the airports. This was the only thing I could see that knocked out Dennis & Andrew, and it definitely came into play here. The detainment played a factor, but nowhere near as big as the overbookings.
No analysis today…wait until things pick up a bit.
Aside: I always thought the timing of AR3 was a little strange, since it’s almost the exact same time as Survivor. Now with the double episode, there’s a possibility that both may end on the same week. Was this CBS’s intention all along? I can’t see how it can help them, and the ending’s well after any sweeps period.
It certainly proved the value of bunching. When a team is as far behind as Andre and Damon, some suspense is inevitably lost. I enjoyed the episode, but you knew who was going to be eliminated (barring a spectacular misstep by one of the other teams) about 20 minutes in.
It’s the nature of the race, the way they’ve designed it, that until the final leg, it’s more important not to screw up badly than it is to race exceptionally well. (I don’t have a problem with that.)
