Amazing what plants add to a room

I moved into my new place 4 weeks ago. I’ve been slowly getting the rooms into what I think I want. No matter what I did, I just couldn’t get my living room to feel right.

So I started adding plants. I’m up to 9 plants in here now. I’m not a plant guy at all, so I don’t really even know what they all are (I have them written down somewhere). But damn, they have just made the whole room come together in a great way.

Even better, after a few YouTube vids, I found myself able to buy some plants at the nursery and repot them into some interesting looking containers.

So if you’re like me and could never really seem to get a room to feel right, try some plants.

Hopefully I won’t be starting a thread in a few weeks asking how to keep my plants alive.

What kind of plants did you get?

*too often I see pictures of potted plants in “professional” interior design photos, where the designer has obviously given little to no thought to whether the plants will thrive or even exist in the particular setting. They do need light.
