The cymbal sounds are definitely different on the two recordings, especially the hats. The hats kinda sound shitty on the Soultone recording, to be honest. I wouldn’t be surprised if there were multiple takes spliced together (and I’m willing to bet there are), but I think the drum sounds are mostly hers. I mean, just listen to the cymbals at the end of this phrase here, and listen to it on Neil’s recording. Totally different cymbal. She hits a crash and lets it ring; he hits some kind of splash-type cymbal with a quick decay.
Or Dave Lombardo, the drummer for Slayer? He’s got lots of technical chops ;).
