I found a book I needed on Amazon and bought it, this being my first time using Amazon. I have an Android tablet with the Kindle software. I purchased the title and choose “send to my tablet”, once I choose that the website says “sending”, but nothing happens, no download. The book slows in my purchase history and I can read it using Amazon’s cloud reader, but I need a internet connection to do so. I want it on my device so I can view it anywhere. Does anyone know what I an doing wrong? I couldn’t find an answer in Amazon’s help section and would prefer to ask here instead of their forums ass I am sire to get the correct answer here.
Not sure what happened with the send, but in the Kindle app on your tablet, just go to Library -> All Items and you should be able to find it there and download it manually.
Nevermind, I found the solution. After the purchase and"sending" the book to the tablet you have to open the kindle software and go under options and choose “sync and check for new items”. Once I did that the book appeared in the kindle software. Mods, feel free to delete thread unless you think it might be of help to others.
Alternatively, you don’t need to “send” it to your tablet. You can just go to the “archived items” list and all your purchased books are there. Just click/tap to download.
