Amazon vs Ebay For Selling Used Items

Have a few old video games that i want to sell. Is it better to sell via amazon or ebay? I have sold things previously a long time ago in amazon and i recalled all i got was an email that its been bought and then to ship it to the person and their address. When i done it through ebay, i recall entering lot of more detail, taking picture and then waiting 7 days or so for the auction to end and the ship it.
Are amazon/ebay fees very similar now? Or are amazon much more than ebay? Had heard amazon fees cost a lot more now. Also does amazon charge the same with ebay when posting pictures of the product?
I have a bunch of old video games to sell and an old graphing calculator and few other similar things and wondering if its better to use amazon or ebay now. The one benefit to amazon seems to be once you list it, someone buys it within few day and you can ship it. But ebay you have to wait 7 days and also they send you paypal funds as opose to amazon where they send funds directly to bank account.
Thoughts?

Also i believe amazon doesn’t charge a fee for a listing right? Thus i recall once i listed something on amazon for many months and no one bought it and i wasn’t charged a fee, then i took it down. This was a long time ago though.

But on ebay if i list something and no one buys it, theres still a 99 cent fee i believe plus any fees you pay for picture etc?

eBay typically has a certain number of free listings per month and free photos (up to 12, I think).

This is a change from in the past, when eBay usually did charge a listing and photo fee.

Didn’t you already ask about selling stuff on eBay vs Amazon (here and here)?

And then there were threads at every step of the process.

I look forward to the next thread. (“After I sold stuff on eBay, I ended up with this stuff called “money.” What do I do with it?”)

Since the OP is looking for opinions, let’s move this to IMHO.

Pauly01, we end up moving many of your threads that you start in GQ to IMHO. If you are looking for opinions and advice, please start the thread in IMHO rather than GQ. If you continue to keep opening these kinds of threads in GQ, we may start closing them rather than moving them.
