Good point. If we kill all palestinians right now, we won’t have to see any palestinians die later. But that will surely annoy many arabs so they start attacking Israel too… and there are a lot of arabs. Since there are so many more arabs then jews, how about we just kill all the jews instead?
Oh, and I have no trouble picturing the 2-month old baby. I bet it looked pretty much like all other 2-months old babies that have died to explosions. I just pointed out how it was irrelevant to the debate (you know, being a typical fallacy and all). No matter how many babies that die I don’t think irrationality and hatred will bring about peace better then rationality and empathy, it hasn’t so far,
Oddly enough, of all the Palestinians I have met, none seemed to thrive on the idea that sacrificing lives was a good idea. Neither has any of the jews I met. Could it be that it’s mainly the extremists on both sides that want to kill people?
