American art song for lyric coloratura

Hi opera singers!
I am a 24 year old Master’s of Music student studying voice. I am looking for an American song cycle, possibly by a woman, that suits my voice. I am sort of a lyric coloratura, sort of a high lyric. Here are some of the other things I have been working on:
Ah non credea and Ah non giunge, La Sonnambula
Merce dilette, amiche, I vespri siciliani
Zeffiretti lusinghieri, Idomeneo
Non mi dir, Don Giovanni
some Mme. Vasnier songs by Debussy
Schubert’s Shepherd on the Rock

I am just looking for something interesting and possibly unusual that fits my voice. I have a hard time staying in the low register for long periods of time; my voice is happiest in the top of the staff. Any suggestions?
Thank you for your time!

Hi mlharding, and welcome to the SDMB.

We prefer that people start new threads for new discussions, rather than reviving old threads that aren’t completely relevant – so I’ve split this off for you and moved it to Cafe Society, the forum where we discuss the arts.

Again, welcome.
